Fair go: equitable treatment. This means that what someone achieves in life should be a product of their talents, work and effort rather than an as a result of their birth or favouritism.
(Australian Government)
Gay & Lesbian Equality (WA) believes that full equality means giving people of diverse sexuality & gender a fair go in life - the freedom to live their lives, pursue careers, and form loving families, without fear, prejudice or legislative barriers.
The Fair Go Campaign focuses on building a network of people who support a fair go for people of diverse sexuality & gender, and who commit to taking action to ensure they get it.
